What is CBT?
- Cognitive behaviour therapy is about how thoughts, feelings
and behaviour affect each other.
- The main aim is to help you to fight back against OCD and not
carry out your compulsions (behaviour) and to learn that the anxiety
(feelings) will go away eventually.
- Changing your thoughts will help you to feel less anxious and
therefore you will be more able to resist doing what OCD says.
